Opening a corporate bank account in Dubai

We support the preparation and submission of corporate bank account applications. Having an incorporated company does not guarantee that a bank will approve the account: banks apply their own criteria on compliance, KYC, activity, shareholders, countries, clients and source of funds.

When it applies

This applies to new companies, companies that need a second account, or companies that struggle to explain their operations properly to the bank.

Requirements

Trade licence and corporate documents, passports/Emirates ID where applicable, proof of address, CV or business profile, contracts/invoices if any, business model, source of funds and any documentation requested by the bank.

Timeframes

There is no single timeframe that can be guaranteed. It depends on the bank, profile, documentation, activity and compliance reviews.

Common mistakes

Submitting inconsistent information; not explaining clients/suppliers; using high-risk activities without supporting evidence; assuming that residency or a licence guarantees approval; setting up a structure without first thinking about bankability.
