02What data we collect and why
We only process the data you give us when you fill in one of our forms. We do not buy databases or collect information from third parties. We use it to handle your enquiry: to study your case, reply to you and send you an automatic email confirming that we have received it. We do not use it to send you commercial information unless you authorise us separately, as explained below.
Company setup questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and WhatsApp.
Project data: Country of tax residency, situation and objective, activity, annual turnover, intention to move residency, timeframes, budget, decision-making capacity and concerns.
Tax calculator
Identification data: Name, email, phone or WhatsApp and, if you provide it, the company.
Project data: Country of tax residency (and, if you choose “Other country”, the one you type) and, unless you are already resident in the UAE, how you plan to operate there. If you are resident in Spain: how you work (as self-employed or through a company), annual profit after expenses, annual turnover and, when it decides your regime, the previous year's turnover if you state it, how you pay yourself from your company and the salary if you state it, whether you work in your company or manage it and whether you have effective control of it (through your shareholding, through your management duties or with your family), whether the company is newly incorporated, autonomous community (or that you prefer not to state it) and, in the Canary Islands, whether you live on La Palma, whether you will move your tax residency and whether you will keep carrying on your business from Spain. If you are resident in the United Kingdom: how you work there, the days and ties you will keep, whether your company will remain incorporated there, the income you will continue to have there, how you pay yourself, whether you have been tax resident in at least 4 of the last 7 tax years and whether you plan to return within five years. If you are resident in the United States: whether you hold citizenship or a green card, the state where you live, the structure you trade through, where your income comes from and whether you plan to renounce your citizenship or green card. And the calculated result (the estimated difference or, if your case does not allow a figure, what decides it), with the version of the tax parameters and the exchange rate applied, although, while those parameters are pending validation, we may not show you its figures.
Other data: The language, the currency you choose, the page from which you submit, the campaign parameters (UTM) with which you reached the website, if any, the record of your consent and whether or not you authorise receiving commercial information by email and by WhatsApp.
Accounting and Corporate Tax questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and phone.
Project data: Company registration and situation, activity, services of interest, timeframes, turnover, monthly transactions, employees, accounting and tax status, due dates, current management and comments.
Business expansion questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and phone.
Project data: Country and sector of the company, commercial model, stage and size, turnover, markets and objectives, project status, timeframes, main challenge, planned investment, role in the decision and comments.
General services questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and phone.
Project data: Country, service of interest, situation, sector, project, turnover, budget, timeframes and role in the decision.
Visas and residency questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and phone.
Project data: Type of visa, who it is for, duration of interest, timeframes and comments.
Market research questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and phone.
Project data: Market to be studied, type of study, sector, level of depth and comments.
Meeting programmes questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and phone.
Project data: Country, length of the trip, number of meetings, types of contact, target positions and comments.
Business representation questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and phone.
Project data: Type of representation, sector, timeframes and comments.
Trade missions questionnaire
Identification data: Name, email and phone.
Project data: Country, duration in days, number of companies, whether it includes a trade fair, whether a B2B meeting programme is needed and comments.

Project data: Objective and use of the investment, type of asset, budget, financing, horizon, country of residence, residency and company situation in the UAE, timeframes and comments.

Identification data: Name, email, phone or WhatsApp and, if you provide it, the company.
Project data: Main activity, number of shareholders, residence visas you need and where the applicants are, incorporation cost in your country of origin and whether it includes advice, annual costs of the structure if you state them, planned start date and the calculated result, with the version of the fees and the exchange rate applied.
Other data: The language, the country of origin you compare against (and, if you choose “Other country”, the one you type), the currency you choose, the page from which you submit, the campaign parameters (UTM) with which you reached the website, if any, the record of your consent and whether or not you authorise receiving commercial information by email and by WhatsApp.
Accounting calculator
Identification data: Name, email, phone or WhatsApp and, if you provide it, the company.
Project data: Type of client, monthly transactions, status of the accounts and months outstanding, VAT registration in the UAE, monthly fee and annual extras of your current adviser with its currency, and the calculated result, with the version of the fees and the exchange rate applied.
Other data: The language, the country of origin you compare against (and, if you choose “Other country”, the one you type), the currency you choose, the page from which you submit, the campaign parameters (UTM) with which you reached the website, if any, the record of your consent and whether or not you authorise receiving commercial information by email and by WhatsApp.
Business expansion calculator
Identification data: Name, email, phone or WhatsApp and, if you provide it, the company.
Project data: Sector, target markets, objective, current situation and start timeframe; if you state them, trips per year, people per trip, cost per person per trip, trips you would keep and their currency; and the calculated result, with the version of the fees and the exchange rate applied.
Other data: The language, the country of origin you compare against (and, if you choose “Other country”, the one you type), the currency you choose, the page from which you submit, the campaign parameters (UTM) with which you reached the website, if any, the record of your consent and whether or not you authorise receiving commercial information by email and by WhatsApp.
In the tax calculator and in the company setup, accounting and expansion calculators, replying to you includes sending you by email the result you asked for. We keep that result exactly as it was calculated, with the version of the fees or of the tax parameters and the exchange rate applied, so that the email and our reply reproduce that same result and not one recalculated later.
In the contact step of the calculators there are also two optional boxes, separate and unticked: if you tick either of them, we record your authorisation to send you commercial information about our services through that channel, email or WhatsApp. If you do not tick them, you still receive the result.
None of these forms asks for special categories of data (health, ideology, religion, trade union membership or biometric data). If you send us such data on your own initiative in a free-text field, we will delete it.
03On what legal basis
Your consent, which you give by ticking the box before sending the form. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect what was done before.
For commercial information by email or by WhatsApp, your consent for each channel, which you give by ticking its box. It is optional and not needed to receive the result. You can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it: by writing to the privacy mailbox indicated above or through the unsubscribe option that every commercial communication will include.
So that we can show that you gave us your consent, we keep with your enquiry which text you accepted (its version), in which language, when and, in the calculators, through which channels you authorised commercial information.
If we end up working together, the legal basis becomes the performance of the contract and, for the documentation of the transaction, compliance with legal obligations.
04Who else sees it
No one we do not need in order to reply to you. We do not sell or transfer data. The providers involved technically are:
- Supabase: Database where the forms are stored. Its policy.
- Resend: Sending by email the notice to the team when an enquiry comes in and the automatic confirmation to the person who sends it, which in the calculators includes their result. Its policy.
- Vercel: Website hosting and technical server logs. Its policy.
- Sanity: Content management system for the blog. It does not store data about visitors to the site. Its policy.
Today we do not use any tool to send commercial information, either by email or by WhatsApp. If we start using one with people who have authorised it, we will add it to the list of providers involved technically before the first communication is sent.
Some of these providers may process the data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by an adequacy decision.
05How long we keep it
The data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and, if there is a contract, for the duration of the relationship and the subsequent legal periods.
As an operating criterion, and not as a legal time limit, after 12 months we review the enquiries that have not led to an active relationship and delete or anonymise whatever is no longer necessary.
When we delete or anonymise your data, the record of your consent and of your authorisations will be kept blocked, separately and with restricted access, only for as long as liabilities arising from the processing may be claimed.
The previous version of the tax calculator, replaced in October 2026, no longer collects any data. It was used to send the name, email and WhatsApp number, the turnover and business activity entered and the calculated result (what would be paid in Spain and in the UAE, and the estimated difference); the data that is still kept follows these same criteria.
06What you can ask of us
To access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, and ask us to provide it to you in a portable format. Simply write to the privacy mailbox indicated above.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
