Saudi market entry: MISA registration, structure
We support companies entering and expanding in Saudi Arabia, from market analysis and contacts to investment registration, structure and commercial development. MISA maintains an Investment Registration system for activities open to investment. Its Investor Guide 2026 gives an estimated timeframe of 10 working days for the investment registration service when the application is complete; subsequent incorporation and licensing may take longer.

When it applies
This applies to companies that want to sell, obtain a licence, establish themselves or develop projects in Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
Activity, parent company where there is one, corporate documents, sector, project, clients and planned structure. The specific requirements depend on the activity and the form of investment.
Timeframes
Registration and establishment depend on the activity and approvals. We do not give a single timeframe without reviewing the case.
Common mistakes
Entering without validating demand; confusing investment registration with a full operating licence; not adapting contracts, tax or local content; assuming the UAE structure will work just the same.
